The Official Blog of The Burr Project

Author: Jason Bonsall

My name is Jason Bonsall and I am a Junior at the University of Nevada, Reno where I am double majoring in Political Science and History. I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel throughout my childhood and even function as ambassador to the City of Reno while I was studying abroad in Italy this past summer. I have always had a love for history because of the amazing stories from various parts of the world that allows you to learn from the past and be able to apply to the present knowledge learned from cultures all around the world. So while my physical interaction with people from different cultures has been limited to parts of Western Europe, my study and interest in history encompass cultures all around the world. My interest in Political Science comes from my desire to be able to use these historical stories and apply them to current events in the United States and Global politics.
